Besides the fact that June 21st is my 3 year old nephew Ben’s birthday, and that it is also the longest day of the year – I got to thinking that it’s also a great time to recommit, reconsider, reestablish or reaffirm your plans for 2010.
You know the feeling you get on January 1st, there is something so fresh and brand spanking new about it – it’s the logical place to start fresh with personal goals and plans. But what if you don’t manage to get your act together on January 1 or even within the first week of January? Do you feel you missed the window of opportunity and then, whether consciously or not, wait another whole 365 days to start your life planning?
If you want to begin an exercise routine, start (or re start) a savings account, review your annual to-do list, commit to going out for live music twice a month or pledge to eat healthier - I say today is the perfect time to start.
Today is the longest day of the year – feeling motivated yet?
